Registered as a LEED-Campus, the new resort will consist of three lodges, a signature restaurant, luxury spa, ski lodge with lift providing direct access to Moonlight Basin Ski Resort. West Lodge and Main Lodge are in final review with GBCI. The challenge for these projects using the LEED rating system is the isolated location and lack of public transportation which allow urban projects to earn multiple LEED points.
The project is outstanding in its natural landscaping and design that connects the lodges seamlessly with the Moonlight Basin ecosystem.
The project is designed by Olson Kundig, collaborative global design practice, with ownership by developer Lone Mountain Land Company. One & Only (https://www.oneandonlyresorts.com/moonlight-basin) will operate the resort.
