Grand Canyon Redevelopment

4 LEEDv3--Gold
1 LEEDv3--Silver
Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

As part of the Redevelopment of Canyon Village in Yellowstone Park, five lodges were constructed to house guests of the Park.  All five were pre-fabricated in Idaho and trucked to the Park during the summer nights.  The building season is extremely short in this part of Yellowstone Park so the most efficient and effective construction strategies were planned and executed.  98& of the construction waste was diverted from the landfills.

Four lodges earned LEED-Gold while the registration building earned LEED-Silver as it has air-conditioning and therefore uses more energy.
