Yellowstone National Park

Canyon Village Redevelopment Project included the removal of over 400 existing older cabins that were replaced with five sustainably built lodges. Each section was manufactured off-site and moved through Yellowstone National Park to a holding area.  Upon completing the transport of a single lodge component, the sections were stacked, connected, and finished. This method saved time and funds and protected the national park as much as possible from the impacts of construction.  Access to the site was limited to late spring, summer, and early fall due to the abundance of snow.

The project was completed in two phases. Phase I consisted of three lodges that were completed in the Fall of 2015. Phase II consisted of two lodges that were completed in the Fall of 2016.
